Today I will share with you one quite famous place selling Taiwanese pastries and snacks named Kazo.
Kazo has few branches in Singapore, so perhaps nearby your place have Kazo branch to visit after you read this article 😉.
Kazo is selling few types of Taiwanese pastries and snacks such as cream puff, polo bun, tarts and many more.
Last time I have tried their cream puff when they open in Chinatown Point and I was amazed by this cream puff taste. So recently when I found this Kazo branch inside Bugis Junction, without thinking twice, I ordered four polo bun: two Hokkaido Polo, one Chocolate Polo and one Golden Lava Polo.
You can easily identify which flavour if you purchase all three flavours in one box (same like me). They pour chocolate powder on top of Chocolate Polo, white powder on top of Golden Lava Polo and they don’t pour anything on Hokkaido Polo.
Be careful when you eat Chocolate Polo, it can be messy (chocolate powder will be all over your hands) because the chocolate powder doesn’t stick on the polo bun. It’s also the same with Golden Lava Polo. You might need to use small plate as a base when you eat this polo bun.
Chocolate Polo is yummy. If you are Chocolate fans, you will definitely love it.
Golden Lava Polo is suitable for salted egg lovers. For me, it’s not bad.
I like Hokkaido Polo the most. It’s yummylicious custard cream.
They also give very generous fillings for all of the flavours. The fillings will burst once you bite it.
The polo bun itself is very delicious. It’s crunchy and has a good texture.
