Happy Sunday. I was recently exploring Bugis area and found out one new place that is selling Chinese version of Burrito named Lai Ge Juan Bing.
Lai Ge Juan Bing is located beside the entrance of Bugis Street (from Bugis Junction).
Lai Ge Juan Bing is selling few types of Burrito and honestly I can’t make up my mind to try which Burrito to try since this is the first time I visit this place. So, the seller suggests to try their Signature Turkish Kebab Burrito ($6).
The special thing that I observe when he makes this Chinese version of Burrito is that this Burrito skin is somehow different than the normal Burrito skin. He makes the skin from some kind of elastic dough and using big pressing tools to flatten it.
After that, he put some sauce, few types of vegetables, Turkish chicken kebab, two types of mayonnaise and he wraps the skin. I also request to not put chilli sauce as I prefer original taste.
Initially, I didn’t put so much expectation on this kebab. But after eating it, I was shocked that this Signature Turkish Kebab Burrito is actually surprisingly delicious 😋.
“Don’t judge a book by its cover” is really true for this Chinese version of Burrito 😀.
This Signature Turkish Kebab Burrito is delicious and crunchy when you chew it. The crunchiness comes from the vegetables and the Turkish Chicken Kebab is tender. All of the ingredients taste amazingly blended well together.
So I do recommend you to support and try this Burrito when you are around Bugis Street area.
