Meng Kiat Prawn Noodles offers few different types of dishes: Traditional Prawn Noodle (dry/soup), Pork Ribs Prawn Noodle (dry/soup), Big Prawn Noodle (dry/soup), King Prawn Noodle (dry/soup) and Pork Ribs Soup.
Actually at first I wish to order Pork Ribs Prawn Noodle but too bad the pork ribs are run out so I order Traditional Prawn Noodle dry version.
For the noodle, they have three different types for you to choose: yellow noodle, beehoon or kway teow. You also can request to mix the noodle. I request to mix yellow noodle and kway teow.
For the Prawn Noodle toppings, they put prawn and pork slices. They also give dark brown soup. I believe this dark brown soup is made using prawn shell because the soup taste is rich of prawn taste.
You may expect richer taste coming from dry version of Prawn Noodle compared to the soup version. Because of that, I choose dry version.
This Traditional Prawn Noodle is tasty and have strong taste flavours.
I believe Meng Kiat Prawn Noodles is famous around that area because the queue is longer than other stalls nearby.
