Today I will share with you tastylicious Halal chicken rice that I found inside The Seletar Mall named My Kampung.
Honestly at first I was a bit reluctant to try it because I thought Halal chicken rice would be more tasteless compared with non Halal chicken rice.
But in the end I gave it a try because I saw My Kampung was actually under Yu Kee Duck Rice group.
My Kampung sells few types of chicken rice such as Steamed Chicken Rice, Chicken Char Siew Rice, Chicken Cutlet Rice (Lemon / Thai sauce) and few other types.
I played safe by ordering Chicken Char Siew Rice ($4.50) because among those three types of dishes, I believed Chicken Char Siew would have stronger taste than other two types.
Please note that braised boiled egg was not part of the meal, so I requested to add braised boiled egg (with additional money).
So here I am with one package of Chicken Char Siew Rice with Braised Boiled Egg.
Although this Chicken Char Siew Rice is a Halal version, this char siew sauce is very tasty and successfully make this dish flavourful. The rice is also fragrant.
Kudo to this char siew sauce maker. I really enjoyed it and definitely will order again next time.
