Today I will share with you my experience visiting one unique restaurant in Jakarta (Indonesia). Inside the restaurant, you can see and sometimes interact with live penguins inside giant aquarium that is decorated similar like their nature place.
This restaurant name is Pingoo restaurant.
Located at Neo Soho Mall, Pingoo restaurant offers a lot of variety of fusion Western Asian cuisine and if you come at the perfect timing, you can see the cool penguin show.
My dear and I actually wanted to visit Pingoo restaurant from quite a long time ago, but we always ran out of time. Finally this time, when we visited Pingoo restaurant, we were lucky enough to see the penguin show. It’s like getting double happiness 😂.
For the food, we ordered Chicken Caesar Salad and Salmon Cap Gomeh.
Chicken Caesar Salad consists of Romain lettuce, boiled egg, grilled chicken, tomato cherry, grana padano cheese and caesar dressing.
As a non salad fans, I feel that they have done a great job to make this Chicken Caesar Salad. I surprisingly like it. It’s yummy and healthy (I guess 😁). The chicken is tender and Romain lettuce is crunchy.
Salmon Cap Gomeh is a fusion between Lontong Cap Gomeh, Salmon and Cassava Chip.
This Salmon Cap Gomeh is pretty delicious and this dish nailed the art of fusion food.
The Lontong Cap Gomeh gravy is not very oily and has strong delicious taste, so it would give rich tasty flavour if you mix this gravy with salmon. This gravy is also yummy to eat with Cassava Chip.
For the drink, we ordered Orange Juice and Lemon Tea.
Overall, this restaurant is recommended to try because of their food quality and cool live feeding penguin performance.
It’s a one kind restaurant that is worthy to try.
