Happy New Year 2022 for all of my fabulous readers!
To start the year of 2022, I will share with you one fabulous place selling fabulous unique sando located at Plaza Singapura.
Why do I say unique? It’s because normally sando is using white bread sandwich to wrap the meat, but this one is using nori seaweed and rice.
Curious what is the place named? It’s #ricesando tokyo.
#ricesando tokyo is selling eight different toppings: Sunny Hamburg, Unagi, Gyu Sukiyaki, Teri-Mayo Chicken, Una-Gyu, Miso Pork Yakiniku, Tuna Corn and Inari Mushroom.
Also, please note since this place only accepts takeaway, you need to buy at least 3 rice sando to get the carrier box (in case you want to take picture before eating like me).
I try Tuna Corn ($4.60), Una-Gyu ($8.20) and Sunny Hamburg ($6.80).
Tuna Corn consists of tuna mayonnaise, corn, lettuce wrapped with rice and nori seaweed.
This Tuna Corn is the cheapest menu that #ricesando tokyo has and it’s surprisingly very tasty. I really never expect tuna mayonnaise can be so tasty.
Una-Gyu consists of unagi (with the sauce), gyu (beef) with onions, tamago, lettuce wrapped with rice and nori seaweed.
While Tuna Corn is the cheapest, Una-Gyu is the most expensive menu. Reflected from the price, this Una-Gyu contains of full pack ingredients. Even though the unagi looks very small but it’s actually delicious and juicy. The gyu is also delicious and tender. I am truly satisfied with this Una-Gyu.
Sunny Hamburg consists of sunny side-up egg, hamburg meat, lettuce, a lot of dark brown sauce wrapped with rice and nori seaweed.
Sunny Hamburg will definitely attract hamburger lovers to try. The hamburg meat is tender and nice. The dark brown sauces also really stand up and bring up the tasty flavours of this Sunny Hamburg.
Fyi, they give very generous quantity of all of the toppings and it’s very tasty, so despite the price, I really recommend you to try this at least one time 😀.
