Roji Monster Ice Cream Singapore

Roji Monster Ice Cream Singapore

Happy Easter 2022 for all of my readers who celebrate it.

I don’t have special things regarding Easter related dishes to share with you all, but since today can be considered as a celebration day, I will share with you a cute dessert that my friend and I recently had at Roji Monster Ice Cream Singapore.

Roji Monster Ice Cream Singapore is a famous shave iced place originally from Taiwan that offers four or five flavours of cute monster shaved ice cream with two toppings selection from twenty three different toppings.

I mentioned four or five flavours because in the first place, Roji Monster Ice Cream Singapore has four permanent ice cream flavours: Black Sesame, Milk, Belgian Chocolate and Uji Matcha. They occasionally offer special cool flavour and this time is a Strawberry Ice Cream with Senbei Cookie.

We ordered Black Sesame and Strawberry. We chose Mango Jelly and Salted Cherry Jelly for Black Sesame and Honey Osmanthus Jelly and Matcha & Taro Balls for Strawberry.

Black Sesame Ice Cream ($11.50) is really nice, refreshing and not too sweet. I can also taste real black sesame on this shaved ice cream.

Strawberry ($13.50) is their limited edition flavours for now. It’s so special until they put strawberry syrup and Senbei Cookie on top of this ice cream. The taste is equally yummy as Black Sesame. Senbei Cookie is also nice.

Do take note that four toppings that I tried surprisingly tasted bland. So I strongly advise you to eat these toppings together with the shaved ice cream and I do believe they design it that way to avoid sweetness overpowering overall taste.

Roji Monster Ice Cream Singapore also has creatively interesting way to order the shaved ice cream. Step one, you need to pick your favourite flavour card. Step two, you need to pick two toppings and stamp it on the flavour card. Step three, show the flavour card that you pick to the staff and make payment before they serve the ice cream.

Overall, I do enjoy these shaved ice cream and I recommend you to try it.
