I have good news for people who live around Sengkang area.
I found out that one quite new stall got Michelin awards in 2016 – 2019 & 2021 named Shi Hui Yuan located inside Compass One Kopitiam.
Shi Hui Yuan mainly is selling hor fun with unique yummylicious braised broth. There are few kinds of menu with meat which are either chicken or duck or both.
I mentioned unique yummylicious braised broth because the taste is delicious and I could taste the herbs on this broth. They said that they are using more than 30 herbs with health benefits to cook their braised sauce / broth.
I try Braised Chicken Hor Fun for $5.40.
Braised Chicken Hor Fun consists of flat rice noodle with braised chicken, mushrooms, green vegetable and braised broth.
The braised broth is indeed delicious and rich of herb flavours yet not tasted bitter. It’s a good pairing with the flat rice noodle.
The braised chicken is tasty and tender.
Mushroom is also tender and it absorbs the sauce well.
Although it’s best to eat while it’s still hot, but just in case if you do take away, it’s still tasty without reheating it.
Overall, I can appreciate this dish taste. You should try it 😉.
