I found one place selling authentic Indonesian Sweet Martabak. This place name is Smile Martabak.
Smile Martabak is selling four different flavours of sweet martabak: Original Choco-Cheese, Pandan Cheese Milk, Ondeh-Ondeh Special and Red Velvet Oreo (Cream Cheese).
I try Original Choco-Cheese and Ondeh-Ondeh Special.
Original Choco-Cheese consists of martabak that uses Wijsman butter (well known butter for sweet martabak) and the toppings are secret melted chocolate, premium cheddar cheese and condensed milk. I also requested to add peanut crunch as a topping for this Original Choco-Cheese.
Original Choco-Cheese Martabak topping are a lot, the chocolate is melting and the taste is very delicious. It’s also not too sweet so you will not feel sick eating it when you eat a lot of this martabak in one shot. Once you bite it, you will definitely fall in love with this Original Choco-Cheese. The taste is pretty similar like sweet martabak that you can buy in Indonesia.
Ondeh-Ondeh Special Martabak is a brilliant martabak creation that I believe they don’t have it in Indonesia. It’s brilliant because this martabak’s taste is like real Ondeh-Ondeh and they don’t use same toppings like Original Choco-Cheese. This martabak is made using pandan leaves so that’s why this martabak’s colour is green.
This Ondeh-Ondeh Special Martabak topping are made from palm sugar and sweet coconut flakes. This martabak taste is deliciously unique.
Overall I am glad that I tried these sweet martabak. It really makes me smile when eating Smile Martabak‘s martabak.
