Other than Taste Good restaurant, I also found one place inside Sim Lim Square that was selling savoury Thailand food named Soi Aroy.
Located nearby Taste Good (same level and only different few units), Soi Aroy is quite a well known place to go for Thailand food.
So since I was at Sim Lim Square, I decided to try one of their signature dishes named Northern Thai Pork Rib Soup.
Fyi, Soi Aroy offers three different portion sizes for some of the dishes: tasting, regular and large.
I ordered regular size of Northern Thai Pork Rib Soup ($8) because only regular and large size were able for take away. We couldn’t order tasting size for take away.
Northern Thai Pork Rib Soup consists of egg noodles with pork ribs, meat balls, long beans & other green vegetable and red colour soup.
Since I order for take away, I reheat the soup and all the toppings at home to get the best taste.
Egg noodles has nice texture, pork ribs are tender and meat balls are also big and yummy.
The soup is savoury and rich of yummy flavours.
Honestly I don’t know why they put long beans inside this dish and I feel this long beans doesn’t suit this dish (maybe because I am not used to it) but it doesn’t matter 😀. Perhaps in Thailand, this dish really has long beans.
Overall I like this Northern Thai Pork Rib Soup a lot.
