On Christmas 2021 day, I got $30 Grab vouchers as a present. I was so glad because this was the best chance for me to try out a new food that I have never tried before near Punggol – Sengkang area without worrying about the taste “whether the food are delicious or not”. Hehehe.
So after browsing in Grab app, I decided to give Tai Feng Wei a try.
Fyi, Tai Feng Wei is selling fusion Taiwanese food such as fried rice, noodles, dumplings and many more.
I ordered one package of Hometown Chicken Chop Rice and two packages of Pork Chop Fried Rice with Fish Roe.
Hometown Chicken Chop Rice consists of dark brown colour fried rice with Taiwanese chicken chop. This dark brown colour fried rice and Taiwanese chicken chop are soooo tasty.
Pork Chop Fried Rice with Fish Roe consists of yellow colour fried rice with pork chop and fish roe. They give a lot of fish roe on top of my fried rice so everytime I chew it, it will burst by default.
Honestly, I was a bit disappointed with this Pork Chop Fried Rice with Fish Roe because the taste was very normal and definitely couldn’t win against one famous place (I believe you know who 🙄) that was also selling Pork Chop Fried Rice with Fish Roe.
On the other hand, I was very happy with Hometown Chicken Chop Rice’s taste.
So since there are some promising food and some not so promising from Tai Feng Wei, do read this article until finish before you order so you can know which one you should try 😉.
