The Doraemon Exhibition Singapore 2022

Who doesn’t know Doraemon? I do believe most of you know who is Doraemon and his comics & cartoon might be a part of happiness on your childhood life, perhaps until now.

Long time ago, I loved to read Doraemon comic books and watched Doraemon cartoon every Sunday morning without fail.

Even though nowadays I rarely do that, but I still remember how good and fun this Doraemon story is. I will never forget Doraemon for the rest of my life.

Speaking about Doraemon, today I have a good news to share with you all my lovely readers. From now until 05 February 2023 (10:00AM – 07:00PM), The Doraemon Exhibition Singapore 2022 will be held at the National Museum of Singapore.

A little introduction about Doraemon story. The story is about Doraemon – a robot cat from 22nd century who travelled back in time to watch over Nobita.

Doraemon has a lot of future gadgets that he retrieves from four dimensional pocket in his belly to help Nobita (a good kid who needs to learn to stick up for himself and stop being lazy) solving his issues almost every time, such as get bullied from Gian (a typical schoolyard bully and his singing voice is a nightmare of the neighbourhood) and Suneo (the neighbourhood rich kid and loves to showing off his stuff).

Sometimes Nobita is also using Doraemon gadgets to impress Shizuka (a cute, kind and smart little girl) because Nobita has a crush on her.

There are 2 exhibition libraries (ACT 1 and ACT 2), the canyon (ACT SG), Doraemon Cafe and Doraemon Merchandise booth on level B1.

There are also Manga Doraemon on level 1 and human size of iconic pink colour of Doraemon Gadget “Anywhere Door” on level 2.

You need to purchase a ticket to enter ACT 1, ACT 2, ACT SG and Manga Doraemon.

Since taking pictures is not allowed for Fujiko F Fujio’s original drawings inside Manga Doraemon, I will give you a special hint that I observed while seeing his amazing original drawings. In his early drawings, he only used two colours other than white colour: black colour and blue colour (Doraemon blue colour).
