During lunch time, Tipsy Hippo has Weekday Set Lunch from Monday to Friday 12:00PM until 03:00PM.
This Weekday Set Lunch price starts from $16 per set.
In one set, you can get one salad (either Feta Cheese and Mushroom Salad or Smoked Chicken Salad), one main and one drink.
On the main, you need to choose a base either Coconut Rice or Quinoa and choose a protein either Sambal Seafood, Sous Vide Chicken or Mentaiko Salmon (extra $2).
You can also choose the side from Okra Tempura, Spicy Pickled Cucumber and Stir Fried French Beans (each side cost $2) and add an egg: Fried Hard-Boiled Egg and Sous Vide Egg (each cost $1).
For me, I choose Smoked Chicken Salad, Coconut Rice, Sambal Seafood and Okra Tempura.
For the free drink, you can pick either Coke, Coke Light, Sprite, Iced Lemon Tea or Iced Green Tea. I choose Iced Lemon Tea.
Smoked Chicken Salad consists of hearty smoked chicken salad with cherries tomatoes, furikake and mesclun greens tossed with wasabi dressing.
The Smoked Chicken Salad is delicious. Although salad is not my favourite, but I can appreciate this salad and they give quite a lot of shredded smoked chicken.
The main dish (Coconut Rice, Sambal Seafood and Okra Tempura) is amazingly superlicious. I am not gonna lie with you, this dish is really beyond my expectations. It’s one of the best dish that I have tried so far in Singapore.
Coconut rice contains grated coconut on this rice. It’s flavourful and crunchy.
Sambal Seafood contains prawn and squid tossed in spicy sambal. The prawn is crunchy, squid is also quite big and fresh. The spicy sambal is really blown my mind. It’s supeeeeer delicious.
Okra Tempura is also crunchy and tasty.
Iced Lemon Tea is not very sweet and refreshing.
Other than food, Tipsy Hippo restaurant decoration is also very cool. On one side, it looks like I am in Hawaii and on another side, it looks like I am at disco floor.
I guarantee that you will not regret trying Tipsy Hippo dishes.
