Today I will share with you another food stall inside Bistro8 Jalan Besar that is truly worth to try named Try Fresh XO Seafood.
Try Fresh XO Seafood is selling six types of soup based bee hoon dish: XO Bee Hoon Soup ($8.90), Hua Diao Bee Hoon Soup ($6.90), Salted Egg Seafood Bee Hoon ($8.90), Fried Sliced Ginger La La Bee Hoon Soup ($5) and Seafood Combination ($30).
Each dish has their own characteristics and different seafood toppings.
Actually I really wish to try their Salted Egg Seafood Bee Hoon but because this dish doesn’t have Fried Fish option (only contains La La and Shrimp), I change my mind and go with Hua Diao Bee Hoon Soup.
Hua Diao Bee Hoon Soup contains Crystal Bee Hoon with few slices of Fried Fish, vegetables and Malaysia – KL Exclusive Soup Base.
Fried Fish is quite big and they give quite a lot. It’s crunchy outside, soft and fresh inside.
This Crystal Bee Hoon is thicker than normal bee hoon.
The soup itself is very tasty and this soup appearance is not a clear type soup (seems like it has many essences on this soup).
If you can take spicy food, you better make sure to mix this bee hoon soup with their chilli sauce. You will be amazed on how delicious this soup can be after mixing it with the chilli sauce.
