Today I will share with you one food stall near Serangoon Community Club that is really famous for their fried prawn noodle a.k.a Hokkien Mee.
I do believe once I mentioned the name, most of you who stay in Singapore for a long time will know this place since it’s famous for delicious Hokkien Mee. All right let me tell you, this stall name is Xiao Di Fried Prawn Noodle. Sounds familiar right?
From my own experience, it’s very challenging purchasing Hokkien Mee from Xiao Di Fried Prawn Noodle. First, because this place is far from mrt station and quite hard to find the location. Second, the operating hours is just few hours from 11:00AM – 03:00PM and normally will need to wait quite long. Third, this place is frequently closed suddenly (I encountered this on my first time visiting this place).

Luckily on my second attempt, Xiao Di Fried Prawn Noodle was open and I managed to buy it.

There are two different prices of this Hokkien Mee for you to choose: $4 and $5. You can also request to add more ingredients by top up extra $2.

I tried the more expensive one ($5) but apparently the portion that I got was quite small. So I couldn’t imagine how small the portion $4 is.

This Hokkien Mee is a wet version of Hokkien Mee.
Despite many obstacles and small portion, I like this Hokkien Mee a lot. It’s difficult to describe on how tasty this Hokkien Mee is. It’s very very tasty 😋.
