Looking for a delicious duck rice around The Seletar Mall?
You may try duck rice from Yu Kee Specialities. Located at B2 floor, Yu Kee Specialities is selling duck rice, duck noodle, chicken, pork and few other things.
From the display, the duck meat is very attractive. It’s shiny and looks juicy, it will definitely make you curious to try it.
I try their Speciality Braised Duck Rice ($4.80).
Speciality Braised Duck Rice consists of dark brown colour braised rice, duck meat, half braised hard-boiled egg, preserved salted vegetables, peanuts, tofu, cucumbers and thick dark brown sauce. They also give one small package of chilli sauce.
Because I do take away this Speciality Braised Duck Rice, I am a little bit worried that this duck meat will become very hard to chew. Luckily, this duck meat is still tender so I have no problem chewing it.
For the taste wise, this Speciality Braised Duck Rice is tasty. The duck meat also don’t have any smell (good point). I also recommend you to use the chilli sauce that they provide. This chilli sauce is not very spicy and surprisingly this chilli sauce will make your body warm.
For $4.80, this duck rice also has a big portion.
So it’s really worth to try.
