Wondering which food to buy for take away when you are around Hougang Mall?
You may try to buy from BBQ Express.
BBQ Express is selling BBQ chicken, BBQ pork and rice set.
I believe once you see their BBQ chicken and BBQ pork, you will droll over it 😀. It looks very delicious and mouthwatering.
BBQ Express have few types of rice set that you can choose. This time I try Teriyaki & Fish Combo.
Teriyaki & Fish Combo contains yellow rice, teriyaki chicken, fried fish, achar and mayonnaise.
For $5.40, this Teriyaki & Fish Combo is worth the money.
For me, yellow rice is absolutely better than white rice.
Teriyaki Chicken looks really appealing and it’s really reflected with the taste. It’s juicy and tasty.
Fried Fish is crispy and yummy. If you like mayonnaise, you may dip this fried fish with this mayonnaise.
Achar is refreshing and a little bit spicy. Everytime I order this rice set, they always ask me whether I want to add achar or not. Perhaps some people don’t like achar. But I recommend you to say yes for this achar.
Overall I like this dish. Next time I should try to order their pork. Some says their pork charsiew is also the recommended one.
