Hello all, today I will share with you another place that is selling delicious food inside Havelock 2 building named Big Elephant Penang Signature.
Big Elephant Penang Signature is selling several types of menu which mostly are Penang cuisine (Nyonya Curry Chicken, Nasi Lemak, Penang Assam Laksa) and few others like Ramen, Braised Pork Rice, Roti Prata, Toast Set. They are also selling few types of beverages to accompany your meals.
My friend and I are interested to try it because the food prices are quite friendly pocket (air conditioner environment) and many people are also eating there. So we assume that the food will not disappoint us.
We tried Nyonya Curry Chicken and Braised Pork Rice.
Nyonya Curry Chicken consists of rice (steamed rice mixed with butterfly pea flower rice), curry chicken, potato, egg and vegetables.
Nyonya Curry Chicken is actually delicious, but the curry taste is quite spicy for my liking and there is no savoury taste in there. It’s just pure spicy taste. Perhaps Penang version of Nyonya Curry Chicken is like this since I have never been to Penang before.
Braised Pork Rice consists of rice (steamed rice mixed with butterfly pea flower rice), braised pork, egg and vegetables.
Braised Pork is yummy and tasty. This version of Braised Pork is suitable with my tastebud well.
The portion wise is fine enough to make us full.
Overall, I am quite satisfied with Big Elephant Penang Signature dishes.
