Although Fortune Centre building is famous for the delicious vegetarian restaurants, there are still few restaurants that are selling both vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes that are really worth to try.
One of them is Diner’s Shack.
Diner’s Shack is currently having special lunch menu from 11:00AM – 03:00PM.
Their special lunch menu categories have three different groups: Fresh Fish / Seafood, Poultry and Vegetarian.
From their recommendation when I asked for the most recommended dish on Poultry group, I decided to try their Signature Curry Chicken with Rice ($7.20).
They assured me that I would not regret trying their Curry Chicken.
I decided to believe and wait patiently until they served the food. Their serving duration was quite slow and quite crowded during that lunch time. They were also telling me that next time I would better called them first to book the meal that I wanted to eat so I didn’t have to wait for a long time.
Finally the dish that I was waiting for was arrived at my table.
They served the curry chicken in separate bowl with the rice.
The portion wise, this curry chicken came with quite big size of chicken and generous quantities of chicken. It also came with steamed potatoes that was burried deep inside the curry soup.
The curry taste itself was superb. The spiciness level was not overpowering yet still spicy.
The chicken was tender and the steamed potatoes absorbed the curry quite good.
Eating this curry chicken rice with rice mesmerised me for a moment until I realized that I only had a short time to come back to the office before my lunch time was over.
I would definitely call them first next time before getting there, so I can have more time to enjoy their dish.
Oh ya, in case if you prefer something that has lighter taste, you may go ahead with their Slice Mackerel Fish Soup.
