This Guoma Steamboat is a non Halal all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant that is having quite a lot toppings varieties.
They have five different soup based that you can choose for the steamboat: Taiwanese Style Spicy Soup, Chinese Herbal Soup, Pork Bone Broth, Pumpkin Milk Soup and Vegetable Soup.
For the meat, they have varieties such as Lean Pork, Pork Belly, Pork Shoulder, Signature Beef, Prime Beef, Mutton, Seafood and Fresh Food.
They also have a lot of varieties of interesting seafood and fresh food that even I have never seen before.
Actually other than that, Guoma also have one special dish “all-you-can-eat Taiwanese Minced Pork Rice” that you can put each ingredients yourself per your preference and make it to become your version of Taiwanese Minced Pork Rice.
I choose Pork Bone Broth as a steamboat soup based.
Pork, beef and seafood are fresh and tender.
Honestly, their Minced Pork Rice is more delicious than their steamboat. It’s because this minced pork rice is super tasty and you can add minced pork as many as you would like. Warm steamed rice and the condiments like fried shallots and preserved vegetables make this minced pork rice superb.
But having said that, their steamboat is also delicious. It’s just that I was amazed with their minced pork rice.
The desserts are also not bad.
Overall it’s worth to try Guoma Steamboat when you are in Johor Bahru.
