Today I will share with you one food stall inside One Punggol Hawker Centre that is selling Fried Hokkien Mee named Changi Village Fried Hokkien Mee.
I was interested to try this fried hokkien mee because i saw a double long queue in front of this stall: long queue for order and long queue for collection. Power right?
They have five different fried hokkien mee to choose: Hokkien Prawn Noodle, Roasted Pork Prawn Noodle ($8), Lala Prawn Noodle ($8), Big Prawn Hokkien Noodle ($15) and Premium Hokkien Prawn Noodle ($20).
So I joined the queue and ordered Hokkien Prawn Noodle ($6). Fyi, there are three different prices for this Hokkien Prawn Noodle: $5, $6 and $8.
One thing I need to warn you after you are done ordering and pay. Directly join the collection queue and do not go anywhere else because they don’t give collection number.
A bit troublesome right? But, don’t worry, because once you try their fried hokkien mee, you would forgive 😂.
This Hokkien Prawn Noodle is a dry version of fried hokkien mee. The $6 portion is also huge and we would get three pieces of fresh and crunchy shrimp.
It’s really delicious.
The other key that makes this Hokkien Prawn Noodle has better taste, it’s their chilli sauce. It’s very fragrant and I guess because they are using ebi shrimp (hopefully correct 😂).
Overall I am satisfied with their Hokkien Prawn Noodle.
