As an Indonesian that is currently staying in Singapore, I do feel that Indonesian street food mostly are more delicious than the restaurant one.
I do not know why I have this feeling, but this is what I feel.
So every time before I go to Jakarta, I have already prepared a long food list about Jakarta street food that I wish to try with my dear.
This time we visited Nasi Uduk Aceh 99 that was located around Sunter area.
Nasi Uduk Aceh 99 is selling three different main dish (Nasi Uduk, Nasi Kuning and Lontong Sayur) with a lot of different toppings that you can add as an extra.
Thanks to online social networking services that makes Nasi Uduk Aceh 99 viral, so I can know that this place exist.
But because of the viral, there is a little problem to get these food. You need to make sure to go there as early as you can because when I reached around 8:30AM, they already almost run out of food. Unbelievable right?
Well, I don’t care about other people because we can get to try Nasi Uduk Aceh 99‘s Nasi Uduk and Lontong Sayur 😂.
As you can see on these pictures, it looks that our Nasi Uduk and Lontong Sayur are full of many kinds of toppings. Hahaha, why not??
This Nasi Uduk contains steamed coconut rice with yellow fried drumstick, spicy hard boileg egg, fried glass noodles, vegetables, fried tempeh cubes, peanuts, ikan bilis, fried potato slices, tofu cubes, fried shallots and chilli sauce.
This nasi uduk is really really delicious. They are also quite generous on toppings quantity.
On the other hand, Lontong Sayur contains lontong with lontong sayur’s vegetables, beef rendang, perkedel, egg, omelet, fried shallots, fried potato slixes, peanuts, chilli sauce and lontong curry gravy.
Lontong sayur curry gravy is savoury and this overall lontong sayur is also worth to try.
Overall, we were really satisfied with Nasi Uduk Aceh 99‘s food. It’s a hidden gem and really worth to try.
