Today I will share with you my new finding place for nice food around Punggol area. This place name is Northshore Plaza I. Inside Northshore Plaza I have few restaurant and takeaway kiosk options for you to try.
For this time, I try one food that is identical with Singapore Pasar Malam and without failed, the Pasar Malam food stall that is selling this food will always have long queue.
Curious what is it? It’s an Oyster Cake.
The shop inside Northshore Plaza I is named Sixth Floor Oyster Cake that sells original flavour of Oyster Cake.
I purchase one Oyster Cake because I want to know first whether it’s delicious or not and because the price is $3.
They also give me their special chilli sauce.
This Oyster Cake consists of minced pork, oyster & shrimp and they also put peanuts on top of this oyster cake.
Based on this Oyster Cake appearance, I feel a bit disappointed because this oyster cake is much smaller compared with the one from Pasar Malam.
But on the other hand, this Oyster Cake is delicious and the texture is crispy outside & soft inside. Oyster & shrimp are also fresh.
The chilli sauce taste is also quite special. For sure, spicy lovers will love their chilli sauce.
So there is pros and cons with this Oyster Cake, but if I only focus on the taste itself, this Oyster Cake is worth to try.
Sixth Floor Oyster Cake only allows one person to purchase a maximum of 4 pieces of Oyster Cake. So if you plan to buy more, bring more people.
