Last week, my cousin went to Surabaya and bought a famous Lapis Surabaya cake named Spikoe Resep Kuno for me.
Yeah, so good right?
Spikoe Resep Kuno means old recipe of Spikoe Lapis Surabaya cake brand.
Hope they are trully still following their old recipe to make Lapis Surabaya cake.
There are two types of Spikoe Resep Kuno Lapis Surabaya cake: with raisins and without raisins. She bought one without raisins.
The cake was made fresh, moist and heavenly delicate. No wonder it is really famous in Surabaya.
Personally, I am not a fan of Lapis Surabaya cake. But for this one, I like it.
Will I go there? It’s too far. But, I don’t mind if I get it again without going to Surabaya. Hahaha.
