If you ask me which one do I prefer to have for my lunch / dinner between Western food and Asian food, I would definitely said I prefer anything comes with rice. Asian food or Westen food are fine as long as it comes with rice because I feel that everything with rice would become more delicious, example: Indomie with rice, fast food fried chicken with rice and steak with rice 😂.
Because of that, I normally avoid food with bread for my lunch / dinner, example: burger (I can still eat McDonald’s burger sometimes 😂 but I rarely go to burger restaurant) until one day in Jakarta I ate burger from Five Monkeys.Â
Five Monkeys burger make me to appreciate good quality of burgers and to enjoy eating delicious burger. Of course rice is still my most favourite one, but at least one step closer to enjoy burger.
So here I am wanted to try burger from Wildfire Burgers that have opened recently at Robertson Walk area.
I was curious to try because I heard from many people about how delicious this burger was, so I spared my lunch time to visit it since it was nearby my office.
Actually they were having four new creations of burgers: Ebi, Four Cheese, French Onion and Triple Bacon, but since this was the first time I went to Wildlife Burgers, I ordered Classic 001 Double Angus ($17).
Fyi, they also have Single Angus for Classic 001 for $12.
Classic 001 contains grain-fed Black Angus, American Cheese, caramelized Onion, Gherkin, Master Sauce, Chipotle Mayo and Brioche Bun.
Although at first glance, there was nothing fancy about this burger appearance but after I saw it closer, the Angus looked very juicy and a little bit of the juice was coming out from the Angus. I tried to google it and they said it meant the patty has already been cooked.
Classic 001 was indeed a delicious burger. The Black Angus was juicy, tender and tasty.
For me, the spotlight of this burger was the caramelized Onion. This caramelized onion was sooooooo nice and flavourful. I guaranteed that you would like this caramelized onion taste.
The Brioche Bun itself was nice and I could taste a little crisp. It was nice.
Overall I really like this Classic 001.
