Last week I went to Kopitiam Square Sengkang and saw King Of Fried Rice having a new theme menu named Kampung Style Fried Rice.

Because I liked their Pork Chop Fried Rice, I was really wondering how nice this Kampung Style Fried Rice could be.

From the menu, they have several topping options on this Kampung Style Fried Rice to choose, such as Pork Cutlet, Shrimp, Chicken Chop, Crabmeat & Tobiko or Luncheon Meat. They also sell the one without topping.

After I saw all the toppings selection, I decided to go with Chicken Chop Kampung Style Fried Rice ($8.50) because frankly speaking I never tried their chicken chop.

The chicken chop looked shiny and mouthwateringly delicious. I guarantee after you see this chicken chop, you will feel hungry.

The fried rice really following Kampung style one as they are using ikan bilis, chilli slices, spring onion slices and cauliflower slices.
They give quite a lot ikan bilis and overall fried rice taste is tasty. It really has different taste than their normal fried rice.
Although this Kampung Style Fried Rice is a bit more expensive than the normal fried rice, but it’s quite worth to try especially if you have chicken chop as a topping.
I am not sure whether this Kampung Style Fried Rice and Chicken Chop will become permanent menu or not. But for me, I will say: yes, why not.
