Le Fan Tian

Hi all, today I would share with you one restaurant in Jakarta that recently became viral in social media.

The name of this restaurant is Le Fan Tian.

Located inside Maxim Fruit Market – Glodok, Le Fan Tian became viral because of their mind blowing food presentation that looked very cool.

How cool was that? They served the food using platings that could produce smokes (from dry ice) after they poured some liquid (I guessed hot water).

Fyi, they had few different types of plating character and normally they would use random plating character to serve the food. Meaning that you would not able to request which plating character that you wanted to get.

Le Fan Tian food price was also affordable. All menu were having same price Rp.60.000,- (less than $6 and inclusive of small bottle size of mineral water) and half of their menu were Singaporean food.

Since I wanted to introduce you Indonesian Chinese cuisine, I ordered Crispy Yee Fu Mee and my dear ordered Cantonese cuisine Wonton Noodle.

I was quite lucky that they were using Sun Wukong (Monkey King) platting character to serve Crispy Yee Fu Mee.

This Sun Wukong platting was super cool because the smoke came from his mouth like he was using his power skill to blow the enemy away😂.

For the Wonton Noodle, they were using their common plating which was light blue colour Bottle Gourd shape platting. The smoke came out of the Bottle Gourd body.

Crispy Yee Fu Mee was a crispy deep fried thick noodle in savoury seafood gravy. It had few pieces of shrimp and green vegetables inside this dish.

The Crispy Yee Fu Mee’s noodle was crispy and the gravy was similar like horfun gravy. It was nice.

Wonton Noodle had shrimp wonton, noodle and green vegetables in savoury soup.

This Wonton Noodle was nice and best to eat while still hot.

These dishes portion wise were quite huge.

Honestly, it’s worth to try. But it would be hard for you to park if you bring your own car or motorcycle because it’s located in front of Maxim Fruit Market which is a big main road.

I suggest you to park your car / motorcycle inside Novotel Hotel that is located beside Maxim Fruit Market.
