218 Centre Hokkien Mee

Looking for a nice Fried Hokkien Prawn Mee around Punggol area?

I found one food stall at Tastebud Eating House – Punggol selling nice Fried Hokkien Prawn Mee which I believe if you are nearby there, you can try it.

The name of this stall is 218 Centre Hokkien Mee.

The Hokkien Mee style that I try at 218 Centre Hokkien Mee is a wet version. Why do I call it wet version? It’s due to a lot of gravy like a soup that is served with Hokkien Mee 😀.

Maybe in your mind you think, like a soup…so weird???? No, no, no it’s not weird at all and not so many as a real soup. It’s just the gravy is more than the common Hokkien Mee, so I use the term “soup”.

I like this wet version more than the dry one as the Hokkien Mee flavour becomes richer and tastier.

This Hokkien Mee has Prawn, Pork, Squid and Pork Lard as toppings.

The taste is not very spectacular, but overall I like this Hokkien Mee and don’t mind frequently eat this Hokkien Mee 😀.
