While exploring Jalan Besar area, I found one hawker centre named Bistro8 which was located nearby Jalan Besar MRT and having quite interesting food stalls to try.
So for my first try, I would ordered minced pork noodle from Fan Shu Dried Sole Fish Pork Noodle.
I was interested to try noodle from Fan Shu Dried Sole Fish Pork Noodle because in their signboard was written “More than 30 years of experience in the executive chef of the famous seafood restaurant”.
Suddenly my expectation was raising higher, so I ordered their more expensive menu named Fish Maw Mushroom Minced Pork Noodle.
Fish Maw Mushroom Minced Pork Noodle itself had two different prices which were 6 and $8.
I ordered $6 Fish Maw Mushroom Minced Pork Noodle dry because I worried that $8 would be too much for one person.
My friend also ordered $6 Fish Maw Mushroom Minced Pork Noodle soup.
Btw if you are confused whether to order soup or dry, please go with dry version because dry version is their recommendation.
This noodle appearance really looked delicious, especially the dry one because you could see a lot of toppings on top of the noodle.
There were fish maw, pork liver, minced pork, mushroom, pork lard, fried skin fish, meatball, beansprout and green vegetable.
They also served the soup on a separate bowl.
This noodle was quite spicy, but delicious and I could still handled this spiciness. If you cannot take spicy food, please do remember to mention to them upon ordering because they never ask whether I prefer spicy or not.
What I like about this noodle is that the noodle is not very dry after mixing it.
The fish maw and other toppings were also delicious.
Honestly for $6, this Fish Maw Mushroom Minced Pork Noodle dry version is worthy to try.
