For me, visiting Vivo City is not complete if I don’t eat Kolo Mee from Jia Xiang Sarawak Kuching Kolo Mee.
So, whenever I go to Vivo City, I definitely will do take away this Kolo Mee to bring back home.
Jia Xiang Sarawak Kuching Kolo Mee is selling several different toppings of Kolo Mee with different name to choose and normally I order Jia Xiang Mee.
Jia Xiang Mee consists of noodles with minced pork, charsiew, steamed wonton, shrimp and green vegetables.
This Jia Xiang Mee’s noodles is a typical of Kolo Mee’s noodles and it’s perfectly cooked (this noodles’ texture is not too soft and not too hard).
Minced pork & charsiew are tasty and tender.
The steamed wonton is also delicious.
One thing that makes this Kolo Mee from Jia Xiang Sarawak Kuching Kolo Mee special compared with other Kolo Mee shops is because they put shrimps. The shrimps are delicious and crunchy.
P.S.: Other than having delicious taste of Kolo Mee, they also give quite generous portions of the toppings so even though this Jia Xiang Mee is a bit pricey, it’s still understandable.
Overall, I like this Jia Xiang Mee a lot and do remember to stir the noodle properly to experience the best taste from this Kolo Mee.
