Chicken, chicken and chicken. A lot of delicious food have Chicken as their main ingredient, for example, Fried Chicken, Baked Chicken, Steamed Chicken, Grilled Chicken, BBQ Chicken, and Marinated Chicken.
Chicken is one of the neutral meat that almost everyone could eat except if they have allergies with chicken.
Here I am today sharing a simple delicious Chicken cuisine that I have during Circuit Breaker.
Curious what is that? It’s a Kampung Salt Baked Chicken with rice from Lam’s Kitchen.
Why do I mention a simple delicious Chicken Cuisine? It’s because this dish only contains one thigh chicken, rice, two pieces of cucumber and one small piece of tomato. If you have tried it before, I do believe you get what I mean 🙂
It’s sound simple, right? Yes it is, but……actually the taste of this chicken is not simple at all.
From the taste, I could roughly know how complicated it is to make this Salt Baked Chicken with delicious herb and a perfect salt ratio. The herbal taste is not too strong, so I believe almost everyone can accept the taste. The chicken meat itself is juicy, tender and the chicken skin absorbed the ingredients well because the chicken is wrapped with a kind of parchment paper and stored in the fridge to allow marination overnight before they bake it.
Based on their official website, they are using non GMO chicken, all natural grain fed Malaysian Kampung Chicken. They claimed all of their chicken are 100% fresh because the live chickens are brought directly into Singapore to be processed to ensure the quality and the freshness. They also bake the chicken under a layer of Australian coarse sea salt to lock in the chicken flavours.
Well, having said that, I do like this chicken a lot. If I am craving Salt Baked Chicken, I would definitely purchase it from Lam’s Kitchen.
