Other than Healthy Kopitiam, there is also one food outlet named Ma Mum inside KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital that is selling Asian cuisine from local delights, Thai noodles and few variants of rice dishes.
From the menu, it seemed that their Thai noodles looked promising, so without hesitation I stepped into the Ma Mum, used kiosk machine for self ordering, took the electronic number and found an empty seat.
I ordered Beef Boat Noodle Deluxe ($10.50) and Thai Grilled Chicken Noodle ($8).
Within 10 minutes, my dishes were ready to be served and I did my normal ritual (took food pictures) before trying the dishes.
From the bowl size wise, these dishes were quite huge with quite generous toppings in a companion of the noodles itself.
Beef Boat Noodle Deluxe had beef slice, brisket, tendon and beef balls.
Beef slices portions were generous and all of the beef toppings were tender. Although one type of beef was having red colour, it was cooked enough.
The soup wise was thicker and richer than Thai Grilled Chicken Noodles.
Thai grilled chicken was also tasty and tender.
This Thai Grilled Chicken Noodle’s soup had sweet light delicious taste. The more you drink it, the more delicious this soup would be.
Overall I like these noodles although it’s not the best Thai noodles in Singapore.
