I do believe that people who stay in Singapore are already aware that Fortune Centre is the heaven for vegetarian food.
Because of that, I guess this is the best place that easily can be found for delicious vegetarian food because there are sooo many vegetarian restaurants inside this building from every floor.
The question is which restaurant is worth to choose among them. Honestly I cannot answer you right now but I will slowly review one by one and hopefully I can answer your question.
The first vegetarian food that I tried was New Green Pasture Cafe (Health Food Trading).
Located at Level 4, New Green Pasture Cafe offers wide range of unique complex vegetarian food. I mention complex because the food that they offer are not simple in terms of how they make this dish. I do believe because of that, these dishes are quite pricey.
Me and my friend tried Bi-Bim-Bap ($13.50) and Dry version of Yong Tau Foo.
Bi-Bim-Bap was highly recommended by the owner so I decided to try that.
From the appearance, this Bi-Bim-Bap is quite elegant. It’s like a King’s dish in Korea 😂.
It was surprisingly delicious as well. I was not too sure what are all the ingredients that they put, but after mixing everything evenly, it turned out to have delicious flavours.
They also served this Bi-Bim-Bap with kimchi and soup.
For the Yong Tau Foo, they served it with brown rice and soup.
Yong Tau Foo also was pretty nice. The sauce taste was similar like normal Yong Tau Foo and they generously gave a lot of toppings. You would definitely be full after eating this.
New Green Pasture Cafe has nice food for you to try if you don’t mind about the price 😊.
