Sembawang is the area that can be considered very far from my place.
Taking MRT / bus to Sembawang would be around one hour of my time, so everytime I go there I am trying my best to look for delicious food.
Today review is one of example of my fruitful trip because I ate a very delicious claypot rice at legendary restaurant named Sembawang Claypot Rice.
Fyi, Sembawang Claypot Rice is quite far from Sembawang MRT so you need to take a bus to reach there. But I can guarantee that you will not waste your time visiting Sembawang Claypot Rice.
I tried their signature Traditional Claypot Rice, Homemade Crispy Bean Curd, Claypot Noodles and Deep Fried Salted Egg Bitter Gourd.
Traditional Claypot Rice consists of chicken, Chinese sausage, green vegetable and salted fish.
They made this Claypot Rice until perfection and it produced delicious taste that would satisfied your cravings.
The chicken was tasty and tender. Please also remember to mix all the toppings until evenly (especially salted fish) before eating it to get the best claypot rice taste.
Homemade Crispy Bean Curd was also tasty. I liked this crispy beancurd compared with eating normal beancurd.
Claypot Noodles is a unique creation of noodles that consists of fat white noodles with egg, yam sticks, white vegetables and thick soup.
This claypot noodles is best to eat while it’s still hot. If you are looking for a hot soup, you may not want to miss this.
Other than Traditional Claypot Rice, Deep Fried Salted Egg Bitter Gourd is considered as a star dish, so you must definitely order this dish.
Deep Fried Salted Egg Bitter Gourd was amazingly crispy and yummy. This Bitter Gourd itself is not bitter so you can eat this dish freely without worry of bitter taste.
Overall I was really satisfied with Sembawang Claypot Rice‘s dishes. You should definitely try it.
