Friday again, Friday again, yippie 🎉🎉.
To celebrate this precious Friday, I will share with you about one animal that theoretically 🙈 is related with my Chinese surname.
Curious what is it? It’s a Sun Bear.
I met these Sun Bear at Singapore Zoo. Based on my experience, it’s quite hard to meet and take picture of these Sun Bear as normally they are hiding or they are sleeping and the cage itself is made very challenging to take picture as it is made from the glass (reflection effect).
Sun Bear is the smallest bear and their habitats are inside tropical forests of Southeast Asia.
Normally Sun Bear eat termites, ants, insects & their larvae and honey. I think because of that, Sun Bear’s tongue is very long.
Under human’s care, Sun Bear can live up to 36 years.
These Sun Bear status is vulnerable at high risk of extinction in the wild so please protect it while it’s still possible.
