Today I will share with you one of my favourite food “claypot rice” that I tried at Claypot Valley Kovan branch.
This claypot rice is an upgraded version of normal claypot rice because it’s using Spanish Iberico pork. Sounds interesting right?
Don’t worry if you prefer other toppings, because other than Signature Spanish Iberico Pork Claypot Rice ($10.90), they also have other menu such as Stewed Chicken & Mushroom Claypot Rice ($8.90) and Roasted Sausage Claypot Rice ($9.90).
I am also surprised because the one of the Claypot Valley founder is Chef Ng Chong Guan who is previously well-known Kitchen Director with 30 years of experience in kitchen operation and the mastermind of Jumbo Seafood’s original dishes.
Can you imagine? We can try expensive food taste (as Jumbo Seafood restaurant) in this affordable Claypot Rice.
I tried their Signature Spanish Iberico Pork Claypot Rice.
The way they presented this claypot rice was also new to me because right in front of my eyes, they poured the black sauce and mixed it for me. That’s why in all my pictures don’t have “before-mixed claypot rice” picture.
You also can pour more black sauce as per your preference because they leave the black sauce bottle for you.
One thing that you also must eat with this claypot rice is their chilli oil sauce. It’s sooo nice until I request more chilli oil sauce.
The Spanish Iberico Pork is juicy, tender and tasty.
Overall I like this claypot rice so much.
