While exploring Serangoon North area, I accidentally saw one food stall named Mun’s Seafood Pao Fan selling Pao Fan.
Fyi, Pao Fan is a Teochew dish that consists of rice soaked in a broth brewed from pork, fish bone and prawn and normally is served with meats or seafood.
Pao Fan recently become popular in Singapore and I am really curious to try it, so without thinking twice I decide to take away Seafood Pao Fan from Mun’s Seafood Pao Fan.
Seafood Pao Fan consists of rice, deep fried rice grains soaked in hot broth and is served with one scallop, two prawns, clams and few slices of fish.
For $8, this Seafood Pao Fan worths the money because it has very huge scallop, big prawns, clams and big slices of fish.
The scallop is tender, fresh and in jumbo size.
The prawn is crunchy and big.
Fish slices and clams are fresh and delicious.
The broth itself is rich of flavour, fragrant and deep fried rice grains is crunchy.
Other than Seafood Pao Fan, Mun’s Seafood Pao Fan is also selling other meat toppings variants of Pao Fan. So if you are not a seafood lover, you can still try their Pao Fan.
So don’t hesitate to try their Pao Fan if you are nearby there. You will definitely like it 😊.
